Tina

I’m using my American girl grace doll for Courtney’s sister Tina; she can be a little rude sometimes,like when Courtney makes a big mess in their room or when Courtney doesn’t clean parsley’s cage.But Tina loves her family a lot.

Grace

I got Grace on my fifth birthday; I loved Paris and I loved Grace more. She was my second American girl doll. Grace was discontinued a few months before I turned five and I when I heard she was out of stock, I was very sad. Turns out Mom had bought her on sale before she sold out and my parents surprised me with her! Grace was immediately my favorite, but now that I have so many, I like to say I love them all differently, but equally. Grace is the baker of the family; almost every time I go into the kitchen, Grace is there. Over time, I collected many of her outfits, accessories, and BonBon.

Samantha

I got Samantha from my grandparents for Christmas when I was 5 1/2. Samantha was my third 18” doll. I had wanted her because of her beautiful hair and unique clothes. I have some Pleasant Company outfits that we bought on eBay (including Samantha’s birthday and Christmas dresses) as well as several American Girl outfits that were available before she was cubed (such as the Special Day dress and Frilly Frock). I love Samantha and her original stories; I have read all of her Pleasant Company books and especially love Samantha’s Surprise! I think Samantha’s nutcracker doll and Lydia doll are so cute.

Mary

Mary was my second Create Your Own doll. I sold a lot of my Bitty Baby and 18” doll accessories in order to save up for her. I wanted a doll that had long, light blond curls. Until Mary, I did not own a doll with blond curls. I looked and looked at the Truly Me collection and couldn’t find the blond doll I dreamed of. I wanted a Create Your Own with unique clothes and had always wanted the Let’s Explore accessory set, which was out of stock when I ordered my first CYO (Skylar) and has since been discontinue. Mary is the kindest of my dolls and is always quick to help out with younger siblings or offer fashion advice. Along with Samantha, these two make an unstoppable fashion team.

Skylar

Skylar was my first Create Your Own; I ordered her in 2017 shortly after AG released Create Your Own dolls, but she was back ordered and took four months to arrive! She is my look alike. I was sad that I could not get the Let’s Explore Accessory set (it was temporarily unavailable when I placed my order), but I selected the Let’s Create set instead. I got her the Let’s Create Outfit to match the donut watch in the accessory set. Skylar and Amy are a few years apart in age, but they look similar and have common interests such as sports and gymnastics.

Molly

Molly was my first 18” doll! My mom received this Pleasant Company Molly as a Christmas gift in 1990, but fast forward to 2015 and Molly’s hair was a dry mess, she had silver eye, and her limbs were coming loose. She took a trip to the doll hospital and returned in much better shape. Molly, which I got when I was four, has the original softer vinyl limbs, white body, and a neck string. I love Molly’s hair color and bangs.

I got Blaire from my great grandmother for Christmas 2020. l have always wanted Blaire. I love her light skin and beautiful hair.Blaire and Courtney are great play mates and enjoy playing with their dolls together.

Blaire is allergic to dairy, but is a good sport.

I got Courtney for Christmas in 2020. I really wanted her. But there weren’t any presents that were American girl doll shape or that would fit Courtney, but mom and dad put her in my stocking what a surprise!

I got Camille in 2016 for Christmas. I had really wanted Willa because of her adorable bunny ears head band so I was pretty disappointed when I opened a box I thought was a Wellie Wisher and discovered Camille instead of Willa. I ended up loving Camille SO much. Camille is the child in my family who will tag along behind me; she is always sweet . . . and hungry!

I rescued Lily from a toy shop in Nashville she had been out of a box and out where little kids could play with her I had always wanted her so I asked mom if I could buy her and mom told me we wold ask one of the people who worked there so we did and they said they wold ask the boss the boss said I could have her for free.
