Molly’s Vintage collection

Hi,I’m Blaire Wilson with American Girl Family and I wanted to show you some Molly Pleasant Company clothes that my mom’s grandmother sewed between 1990 and 1993. My great grandmother loved to sew and purchased sewing patterns from Pleasant Company to make reproductions of clothes from Molly’s collection. Because my mom’s Molly clothes were almost all handmade, she only had one pair of shoes for Molly-Molly’s black meet shoes! I took pictures of these hand sewn Molly clothes and compared them to a 1997 Pleasant Company catalog. Enjoy the nostalgia

Happy birthday Grace

On the 17th of September Grace woke up feeling happy for it was her birthday, she would be 11 years old today! Grace planned to invite Blaire because they often cook together. On the 16th of September Blaire and Grace had stayed up late into the night making treats and desserts for Grace’s party.

Grace could barely wait to find out what Blaire and gotten her for a present. But first of course the girls had to eat the treats and desserts Blaire especially enjoyed the cupcakes however, Grace’s favorite treats were the macaroons.

Finally the time came for Grace to open her present from Blaire. Grace tore back the paper to find a diary. Grace was very excited and hugged Blaire.

Product review: Nanea’s luau dress

Yesterday I received Nanea’s luau dress today I’m going to be giving a quick product review.

Nanea dress is a cotton poplin fabric accented with pink ribbon. Nanea’s Hair bow is the same material as the ribbon on her dress. And she has a wedge style of shoes. In my opinion, Nanea’s laua dress perfectly matches her complexion.
Doesn’t she look stunning? Nanea is one of my favorite dolls, but I’m worried that they are sizing down her collection. Does anyone else agree?

Katrina’s studying

It was a warm Friday night in autumn. Katrina and Skylar were eating dinner. Suddenly, Katrina thought of a math quiz she had coming up on Monday.

Katrina asked if Skylar could help her study after dinner. Skylar thought for a minute about what Katrina had asked, took a bite of her chicken, and told Katrina, “I should be able to squeeze in some time after dinner.”

Katrina nibbled at her roll and then she wondered if Skylar really was going to help. Sometimes when Skylar volunteered, she never ended up helping, but Katrina knew she was out of other options.

Skylar brought out the dessert that Grace made earlier that day the desserts where an apple pie and pumpkin pie
Skylar served herself a slice of pumpkin pie and added some whipped cream.
Katrina served herself a slice of apple pie,she tried a bite.mmm grace out did herself she thot as she ate another bite.

The next morning was Saturday and Katrina still wasn’t done studying so she asked Skylar for help again. Skylar thought and answered “I guess I could help a little!” “Thank you Skylar” Katrina said joyfully as she poured herself a generous amount of syrup.

After breakfast the two girls worked for a whole hour together.
The next day at school Katrina did great and received an A+ Katrina was so proud she couldn’t wait to show Skylar.

Product Review: Nanea’s School Lunch

I love all of the historical characters’ school lunches and hate that most are retired. I have Courtney’s school already and today I bought Nanea’s lunch. Here’s a quick product review of the set. I think this set is a good value and has adorable food. There are very cute flowers on the outside of the two-tiered lunch box, but I am a little concerned about how the metal handle pops in to close the lid. Hopefully it will hold up well.

A long day for Courtney

It’s the first day of school; Courtney was excited because she was sitting behind her fourteen year old sister Tina. Tina on the other hand was not so happy about the seating arrangements and would much rather sit in front of one of her friends.

Courtney was a little nervous though because she noticed that Tina did not look happy at all.Courtney sat down in her chair.
Courtney took out her books,pencils,and lunchbox. A few minutes later their teacher told the class to write a page about themselves. Courtney started to write, my name is Courtney Wilson I am nine years old I have a bunch of sisters and one brother, I love to dance. Courtney paused not sure what to write next she looked at what Tina had wrote she read silently, I’m Tina I’m fourteen years old I have a stupid sister named Courtney and I hate dresses! Courtney almost cried was she stupid? Plus if she was Tina had no reason to say so. Courtney just decided to write about gymnastics.
It was lunchtime and Tina bought her lunch from the cafeteria. Courtney opened her lunch box and took a bite of apple she finished her apple and started eating her sandwich and cheese puffs she would save her iced brownie. she was glad that the class had decided to get math, science, and writing out of the way.

Tina was happy with her tray and happily took a bite of cheese burger. After lunchtime the class did history, art, reading, and grammar. After school was out Courtney confessed why she was gloomy. “It’s just Tina wrote that I was stupid in her paragraph about herself and she was really upset with the seating arrangements and, well that’s all.” They both got on the bus. It just so happened that Tina and Courtney had to sit together Tina suddenly burst out “I’m so sorry I didn’t realize how much my writing upset you, please forgive me Court will you?” “ of course.”said Courtney the to of them hugged.

They got of the bus Tina headed home and Courtney went to ballet.
Then Courtney went to gymnastics where they did front handsprings then Courtney Went to her evening jazzercise.
She was sweating after the jazzercise so she got a idea and decided to ask mom!
It was raining really hard so Courtney got into her rain jacket.
Guess what Courtney’s idea was a success!
