A long day for Courtney

It’s the first day of school; Courtney was excited because she was sitting behind her fourteen year old sister Tina. Tina on the other hand was not so happy about the seating arrangements and would much rather sit in front of one of her friends.

Courtney was a little nervous though because she noticed that Tina did not look happy at all.Courtney sat down in her chair.
Courtney took out her books,pencils,and lunchbox. A few minutes later their teacher told the class to write a page about themselves. Courtney started to write, my name is Courtney Wilson I am nine years old I have a bunch of sisters and one brother, I love to dance. Courtney paused not sure what to write next she looked at what Tina had wrote she read silently, I’m Tina I’m fourteen years old I have a stupid sister named Courtney and I hate dresses! Courtney almost cried was she stupid? Plus if she was Tina had no reason to say so. Courtney just decided to write about gymnastics.
It was lunchtime and Tina bought her lunch from the cafeteria. Courtney opened her lunch box and took a bite of apple she finished her apple and started eating her sandwich and cheese puffs she would save her iced brownie. she was glad that the class had decided to get math, science, and writing out of the way.

Tina was happy with her tray and happily took a bite of cheese burger. After lunchtime the class did history, art, reading, and grammar. After school was out Courtney confessed why she was gloomy. “It’s just Tina wrote that I was stupid in her paragraph about herself and she was really upset with the seating arrangements and, well that’s all.” They both got on the bus. It just so happened that Tina and Courtney had to sit together Tina suddenly burst out “I’m so sorry I didn’t realize how much my writing upset you, please forgive me Court will you?” “ of course.”said Courtney the to of them hugged.

They got of the bus Tina headed home and Courtney went to ballet.
Then Courtney went to gymnastics where they did front handsprings then Courtney Went to her evening jazzercise.
She was sweating after the jazzercise so she got a idea and decided to ask mom!
It was raining really hard so Courtney got into her rain jacket.
Guess what Courtney’s idea was a success!

              7. Great, well, I’m going to 6th grade!! I can’t wait!! My favorite colors are pink, blue, green, white, and, well, most of the colors – not including black, brown, yellow, lime yellow, and orange.
